It's almost Jenny's quarter century birthday! The big 25! To celebrate such a huge milestone in life, a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe was a must :) We spent a day on the beach, from boating to floating.
Jenny reserved a boat for Saturday, and that was seriously one of the biggest highlights of the trip. Don't know why, but the boat rental company was REALLY comfortable with just handing us over a boat and letting us drive it around the lake by ourselves. Only rule was we couldn't park it and jump off.
We took the boat far, far out to a secluded area called Emerald Bay. It was BEAUTIFUL. GORGEOUS. AMAZING!!
After surfing through the water and getting drenched multiple times from the bipolar waves and our inexperienced navigating...
... we finally reached just peaceful and calm water.
I mean just LOOK at that view.
When we got to the bay, there was an island in the middle, where people were climbing and jumping off of. Technically, we weren't allowed to park out boat and jump out, but we did it anyway :) Water was freezing but so worth going through to reach the island.

Time to head back after a quick bathroom stop LOL
After we got back to land, we took a break, ate and broke out our new floaties. I wish someone saved a video of us struggling to blow up the floaties. STRUGGLES. But when we were done...
This was such a fun weekend trip!! I'm not one for water activities, but the waters at Emerald Bay were just too refreshing not to jump into. It was so good to see everyone, especially in a new environment besides Walnut or LA haha <3
